• կամիցին — overt finite candidate, 3PL; relative clause ոյք … կամիցին ….
• matrix clause has no overt finite verb. Therefore finite inventory and predicate inventory must be kept separate.

• կալեալ — past participle of ունել (irregular perfect stem կալ-); occurs inside the attested expression ջան յանձին կալեալ.
• մտանել — infinitive.
• ցուցանել — infinitive.
• ունկնդիր լինել — infinitival copular/predicative complex inside the relative clause; CALFA explicitly records ՈՒՆԿՆԴԻՐ ԼԻՆԵԼ = listen / hear / obey.

• CALFA Ջան, ից: diligence, care, effort; explicitly lists ջան … յանձին ունել and cites this same Agathangelos locus: Արդ ջան յանձին կալեալ մտանել … խորութիւն.
• HMB2018 §59, segment hmb2018.l1.seg.000684: Յանձին կալան ասել - հանձն առան ասել — the construction յանձին կալան + INF is glossed as “undertook to say”. This strongly supports treating յանձին կալեալ as a construction, not independently “holding in the person”.
• CALFA խորութիւն: “depth”; also attests Խորութիւն գրոց սրբոց etc., supporting the metaphorical “depth of writings/text”.
• CALFA ունկնդիր: listener/hearer; listening/obedient; explicitly ունկնդիր լինել.

HMB2018 §188 (segment hmb2018.l1.seg.002946) quotes this exact S001 as an example under the subsection for a dative/goal indirect-object subordinate clause. The immediately preceding rule states that this subordinate clause denotes the entity toward which the governing verbal action is directed and may be connected by a relative word.

This independently supports:

• ցուցանել այնոցիկ — “to show [it] to those …”
• այնոցիկ = DAT.PL correlate/recipient
• ոյք … = relative clause specifying այնոցիկ

It does not, by itself, settle the matrix predicate status of մտանել / ցուցանել.

Initial candidate space is not yet adequate for closure, because the matrix clause lacks an overt finite verb and the relation among ջան յանձին կալեալ, մտանել, and ցուցանել is structurally decisive.

Two Active Review issues are therefore retained:

1. REVIEW.001 — matrix predicate architecture: Is ջան յանձին կալեալ an adverbial participial frame governing/introducing both infinitives, with մտանել and ցուցանել functioning as coordinated finite-equivalent predicates? Or is one infinitive structurally dependent on the other / on the idiom?
2. REVIEW.002 — ունկնդիր լինել աւգտակար պատմութեանս: establish the exact case and government of պատմութեանս and the scope of իմաստութեամբ.

STATUS: OPEN / RECALL COMPLETE — REVIEW.001–002 NEXT.

• Matrix has no overt finite verb; կամիցին belongs to the relative clause.
• HMB2018 §177 explicitly recognizes infinitival predication / infinitival turns (անորոշ դերբայով ստորոգյալ … դերբայական դարձված). This confirms that absence of a finite verb does not license inventing one.
• ջան յանձին կալեալ is independently constructional. HMB §59 gives Յանձին կալան ասել = “undertook to say”; CALFA ջան gives ջան … յանձին ունել and cites this locus.
• Surface punctuation and argument completeness favor two infinitival members: մտանել ի … խորութիւն is locally complete; comma; ցուցանել այնոցիկ … opens a distinct recipient argument and relative clause.

ADOPT A: ջան յանձին կալեալ is the participial frame “having undertaken / taken upon himself the effort”; its prospective content is expressed by a coordinated pair of infinitival predicates, մտանել + ցուցանել. No silent finite verb is inserted.

REJECT B: ցուցանել subordinate to մտանել (“enter in order to show”) — semantically possible in abstraction, but no overt purpose marker and the comma plus parallel infinitival morphology favor coordination.

REJECT C: supply an unexpressed finite “I begin / I intend” as grammatical head — unnecessary and unsupported. Authorial first-person is a discourse/controller inference, not an inserted surface predicate.

Confidence: MEDIUM–HIGH. The coordination relation is an analysis from syntax and punctuation; HMB does not explicitly label these two infinitives as coordinated in the same-locus citation.

• այնոցիկ = DAT.PL demonstrative, recipient of ցուցանել; HMB §188 uses this exact locus under the dative/goal indirect-object subordinate-clause discussion.
• ոյք = NOM.PL relative pronoun, subject of կամիցին and semantic subject of ունկնդիր լինել.
• կամիցին = 3PL finite form of կամիմ “will, wish, intend”; it selects the infinitival complex ունկնդիր լինել.
• ունկնդիր լինել is lexically attested by CALFA as a unit: “to listen / hear; obey”. Here “be hearers/listeners of” is structurally transparent and preferable before contextual smoothing.
• պատմութիւն, ութեան establishes պատմութեանս as GEN/DAT.SG morphology; in this construction the most economical parse is GEN.SG with possessive/deictic -ս, complement of ունկնդիր: “listener/hearer of this/my account”. CALFA examples show ունկնդիր with genitival complements (e.g. առաքելոցն ունկնդիր, լեզուի նորա ունկնդիր).
• աւգտակար = orthographic form corresponding to օգտակար, “useful, profitable, beneficial”; modifies պատմութեանս.
• իմաստութեամբ = INSTR.SG of իմաստութիւն; CALFA explicitly lexicalizes its adverbial use “wisely, sensibly, judiciously; prudently, discreetly.” Therefore attach adverbially to the willing/listening complex, not to պատմութեանս.

Adopt: “those who may/will wish, with discernment, to be hearers of this beneficial history/account.” Japanese smoothing can use “この有益な物語に、思慮をもって耳を傾けようとする人々”.

Confidence: HIGH for relative-clause skeleton and ունկնդիր լինել; MEDIUM–HIGH for exact scope of իմաստութեամբ (adverbial semantics is lexicalized, but narrower attachment to կամիցին vs the whole willing/listening complex is not formally marked).

Both priority reviews are now RESOLVED for working analysis.

The sentence is not a finite narrative clause followed by dependent infinitives. It is better represented as an authorial, nonfinite programmatic declaration: after Արդ the writer takes the task upon himself, and the task unfolds in two infinitival movements — enter the depth / show to the hearers. The relative clause then defines the intended audience.

This architecture is relevant to the discourse turn: after §11's repeated finite imperatives to the addressee, §12 does not begin with a blunt “I shall narrate”. It opens with Արդ, then a participial self-commitment, then two infinitives. The new historiographical undertaking is presented as something assumed and entered into before the narrative proper resumes.

STATUS: OPEN — PRIORITY REVIEW RESOLVED / DE-ANCHORED RECALL NEXT.

Priority Reviews の採用分析をいったん外し、surface から再走査した。

• պատմագիր մատենիցս — 初回 Review では内部関係を十分に独立点検していなかった。CALFA պատմագիր は名詞「historiographer, historian」に加えて形容詞的 ՊԱՏՄԱԳԻՐ = “historical / historiographical” を明記し、さらに պատմագիր մատեան = “book of history” を lexicalized collocation として掲げ、この S001 自体を用例として引用する。したがって պատմագիր を「歴史家」と独立名詞化せず、մատենիցս を修飾する「歴史を記した／歴史叙述の」と取る。
• մատենիցս — lemma մատեան, ենից から GEN/DAT.PL + -ս。ここでは խորութիւն の属格 dependent：「これら／この歴史書（群）の深み」。-ս の正確な deixis（“この” vs “わが”）は日本語化で過剰固定しない。
• ի … խորութիւն — խորութիւն は CALFA に literal “depth” と figurative examples Խորութիւն գրոց սրբոց “depth of the sacred writings” がある。本句は մտանել ի X խորութիւն = “enter into the depth of X” と取るのが自然。ここで ի は directional goal を形成する。
• ցուցանել の object gap — overt recipient այնոցիկ はあるが、示される内容の独立 ACC object は surface にない。したがって日本語で「これを示す」とする場合の「これ」は contextual supplement であり、Grabar の overt object ではない。
• authorial controller — surface に 1SG pronoun / finite agreement はない。կալեալ / մտանել / ցուցանել の controller を「著者」とするのは discourse inference。文法層では PRO/implicit controller として保持する。

• պատմագիր = independent “historian” reading: CALFA morphology alone permits noun reading, but local collocation պատմագիր մատեան and dictionary's explicit same-locus evidence strongly disfavor it here. REJECTED.
• մատենիցս = DAT.PL: syncretism is morphological possibility, but խորութիւն + GEN relation and lexical parallels “depth of writings” favor GEN.PL. REJECTED for syntax; morphology remains GEN/DAT syncretic.
• խորութիւն as purely physical depth: lexical metaphorical parallels in writings/texts make this unnecessarily narrow. REJECTED.
• overt object for ցուցանել: none recovered. DO NOT INSERT at structural layer.

De-anchored Recall found no new competing analysis that overturns REVIEW.001–002, but it did correct an under-analyzed constituent: պատմագիր մատենիցս խորութիւն.

1. 文全体の特色は、§12 の開始を明示的な 1SG finite “私は語る” で立ち上げず、կալեալ + 二つの infinitive による 非定形の企図提示として構成している点にある。
2. ջան յանձին կալեալ は逐語分解より construction として読むべきで、「努め／務めを自ら引き受けて」。
3. մտանել と ցուցանել は working analysis では並列する project-content。後者の recipient は այնոցիկ、その内容を ոյք … 関係節が限定する。
4. պատմագիր մատենիցս は「歴史家の書」と機械的に割らず、CALFA が明記する պատմագիր մատեան “book of history” に従い「歴史叙述の書／歴史書」とする。
5. ցուցանել の「何を」は overt ではない。訳文上の補充と構造分析を混同しない。

§11 の聞き手への勧告を終え、Արդ が明瞭な discourse reset を作る。しかし転換後ただちに「私はこれから語る」と有限動詞で宣言するのではない。まず ջան յանձին կալեալ と、書き手がこれからの仕事を自ら負う姿勢を置き、その内容を մտանել「深みへ入る」／ցուցանել「（聞き手に）示す」という二方向へ開く。

したがって խորութիւն は単なる「本文へ入る」の言い換え以上の働きをする。これから扱う պատմութիւն を、内部へ踏み入るべき「深み」として空間化する一方、第二の infinitive はその成果を受け手へ向ける。内へ入る運動 / 外へ示す運動が対をなし、著者の仕事と聴衆の位置を一文で設定している、と読むことができる。ただし、この対照を修辞的に意図された対句とまで権威化する根拠はないので、文学的読解層の観察に留める。

後者の「示そう」「それを」は日本語の完結性のための補充であり、原文に overt finite 1SG / overt object があることを意味しない。
