The first հասեալ is not assigned to Agathangelos. The locally complete constituent is:

Reasons:

• հրաման supplies an overt nominative-like controller immediately before the participle.
• հասանեմ naturally takes a goal/endpoint; առ իս supplies it.
• Assigning հասեալ₁ to Agathangelos would leave հրաման syntactically stranded and would require “Agathangelos having arrived to me”, which conflicts with the first-person self-identification that follows.
• CALFA հրաման permits “command/order” and “permission/authorization”; therefore the syntactic result is stronger than the lexical narrowing. Working translation uses “命／委嘱” without yet deciding its institutional force.

ոմն is NOM.SG indefinite “a certain / one”; Ագաթանգեղոս is appositional naming. Because the surrounding discourse is first-person (առ իս) and the following biography is plainly self-descriptive, adopt:

• ոմն Ագաթանգեղոս = appositional self-identification, approximately “I, one Agathangelos / a certain Agathangelos”.
• Do not force modern Japanese “私アガタンゲロスは” into the structural layer as though an overt 1SG pronoun existed.

The phrase is stylistically marked self-reference; exact rhetorical force of ոմն remains a translation issue.

After self-identification, the following are assigned the same implicit Agathangelos controller:

• Հռոմայերէն / Յունարէն are adj./adv. lexical forms; CALFA specifically attests Յունարէն դպրութիւն and Յունարէն եւ հռոմայերէն իմաստութիւն. Here they characterize the learned դպրութիւն: Latin and Greek letters/learning.
• դպրութիւն = literature/letters/study (also scribal/notarial semantic territory); context favors “学芸／文字教養”.
• վարժեալ հայրենի արուեստիւ: վարժիմ supports “trained/versed”; հայրենի = paternal/native/ancestral; արուեստ = art/profession/study. Exact Japanese narrowing is not closed: “native/ancestral art/profession” is safer than inventing a specific profession.
• ոչ կարի ինչ անտեղեակ լեալ is litotes: “not at all / not very ignorant, inexperienced”. անտեղեակ = ignorant/unversed/inexperienced.
• ձեռնարկութեան նշանագրաց: both nouns are genitival-looking forms; CALFA ձեռնարկութիւն = undertaking/practice/handling/tractatio; նշանագիր spans character/letter, register/archive, secretary/notary, written record. The same locus occurs under նշանագիր. Adopt cautiously “the practice/undertaking of written notation / record-writing”, not a narrower “shorthand” or “secretarial office” without further evidence.
• ի վերայ այսոցիկ = “in addition to / upon these [qualifications]” is the most economical discourse attachment; it scopes over the preceding credentials before հասեալ₂.
• հասեալ ի դուռն Արշակունւոյ: “having reached/come to the Arsacid court”. HMB §5 independently glosses հասեալ ի դուռն as arrival at palace/royal court; CALFA դուռն explicitly includes “the Court”.

This is not one participial chain. The repeated surface հասեալ participates in two different predicative complexes with different controllers.

Confidence: HIGH for the controller split and ի դուռն = court; MEDIUM for the exact lexical narrowing of հայրենի արուեստիւ and ձեռնարկութեան նշանագրաց.

• Տրդատայ is the anchor of the two following որ relative clauses. The first որ cannot naturally refer back to Agathangelos because նախնիսն, արութեամբք, and the martial epithets continue the Tiridates characterization.
• քաջի եւ առաքինւոյն, ուժեղ եւ պատերազմողն form an epithetic/descriptive cluster around Tiridates. CALFA ուժեղ = strong/robust/valorous/powerful; պատերազմող = warrior/bellator/pugnax.
• քան զամենայն նախնիսն establishes the comparison standard “than all [his] predecessors/ancestors”.
• զանցոյց is the first unambiguous finite assertion in this part: “surpassed/exceeded”.
• արութեամբք supplies the domain/instrument of surpassing: “in/by deeds of valour / valour”. CALFA արութիւն includes courage/valour/fortitude/virtue.
• քաջ եղեալ is not collapsed into զանցոյց. It is a nonfinite copular complex, “being/having become valiant/excellent”, providing a state/characterization of the same Tiridates alongside the finite assertion “he surpassed”.
• Therefore the structure is not “եղեալ is an auxiliary making a finite perfect of զանցոյց”. Nor is զանցոյց a resultative participle. The two predicate layers remain distinct.
• The second որ … գործեաց adds a further finite relative assertion. քաջութիւնս գործեաց is lexically transparent with CALFA քաջութիւն including “exploit, achievement, heroic acts”: “performed deeds/exploits of valour”.
• ըմպշամարտ սկայազաւր remains lexically delicate. CALFA lookup for սկայազաւր/սկայազօր currently fails parsing; ըմպշամարտ is tied etymologically/lexically to wrestling. Therefore retain a conservative gloss “wrestling / giant-strength(ed)” and do not finalize a polished Japanese phrase yet.

This is precisely a past-participle + finite-verb juxtaposition. Current evidence supports:

rather than a serial event chain “became brave and then surpassed”. The participle does not by itself force temporal anteriority here. A causal reading “because he was valiant, he surpassed …” is possible semantically but not grammatically encoded strongly enough to adopt.

Thus Japanese should initially preserve looser simultaneity/backgrounding: “勇武の者であって、……を凌駕した”, rather than “勇敢になったので……”.

Confidence: MEDIUM–HIGH. The predicate-layer distinction is strong; the precise discourse relation (background characterization vs causal nuance) remains non-blocking open.

• REVIEW.001: RESOLVED, with two lexical residuals (հայրենի արուեստիւ, ձեռնարկութեան նշանագրաց).
• REVIEW.002: RESOLVED for architecture, with ըմպշամարտ սկայազաւր lexical interpretation and exact քաջ եղեալ discourse relation retained for de-anchored Recall / lexical follow-up.
• No silent finite verb has been introduced into the Agathangelos self-presentation.
• Controller continuity is explicitly broken between հասեալ₁ and the authorial participial cluster.

The earlier label “appositional self-identification” is retained as the adopted traditional reading, but its confidence and description require qualification.

• ոմն is an indefinite pronoun. HMB §90–91 and the surveyed Grabar examples characteristically use it to introduce an indefinite / not-yet-identified person (e.g. “a certain X”).
• Self-reference with ոմն is not categorically ungrammatical: Acts 5:36 has Թեւդաս ասել զանձնէ թէ իցէ ոմն, where Theudas says of himself that he is “someone / somebody”. This is, however, predicative ոմն, not the present առ իս + ոմն + proper name pattern.
• In S002, առ իս has already established first-person reference, immediately followed by ոմն Ագաթանգեղոս. In the examples examined, re-presenting an already accessible first-person self as ոմն + one's own proper name is marked / exceptional in discourse-pragmatic distribution.
• Musheghyan (2012) makes precisely this anomaly part of a textual-historical argument and proposes that ոմն Ագաթանգեղոս reflects later intervention, ultimately reconstructing another personal name. That is a text-critical hypothesis, not a grammatical result.

ADOPT FOR THIS CLOSE READING: follow the traditional authorial-self-reference interpretation: առ իս … ոմն Ագաթանգեղոս refers to the same first-person authorial figure. Do not emend the text and do not insert a reconstructed name into syntax, structural projection, or translation. Record the use of ոմն as a marked/exceptional usage, not as proof of ungrammaticality.

A fresh sweep was made without privileging REVIEW.001–002. No new blocking domain emerged.

• finite / predicate: only զանցոյց and գործեաց are overt finite forms; the opening authorial presentation remains a nonfinite descriptive complex. No zero finite is required for closure.
• controller: the first հասեալ is controlled by հրաման; վարժեալ / ուսեալ / լեալ / հասեալ₂ by the authorial Agathangelos figure; եղեալ / զանցոյց / գործեաց by Tiridates. The repeated participles therefore do not constitute a homogeneous chain.
• case / government: առ իս is endpoint/recipient with հասեալ₁; արուեստիւ is instrumental; քան զամենայն նախնիսն supplies the comparison standard; արութեամբք expresses the respect/domain or means in which Tiridates surpassed them; ի դուռն Արշակունւոյ is arrival at the Arsacid court.
• secondary predication: անտեղեակ լեալ and քաջ եղեալ remain genuine nonfinite copular complexes and are not collapsed into neighboring finite predicates.
• lexicalization / phraseology: ի դուռն = royal court is independently supported by HMB §5 and CALFA. նշանագիր includes character/record and also secretary/notary/scribal senses; Agathangelos itself uses նշանագիրք for persons who write proceedings and read them before the king. Therefore ձեռնարկութեան նշանագրաց is best narrowed to practice/handling of written record or scribal-recording work, while an exact institutional office is not asserted.
• ըմբշամարտ սկայազաւր: CALFA's normalized Ըմբշամարտ, ից gives “wrestler; athletic; wrestling” and cites this exact Agathangelos locus in the form Որ ըմբշամարտ սկայազօր քաջութիւնս գործեաց…. CALFA սկայ = giant and its etymological derivatives explicitly include սկայազօր in Agathangelos. The phrase therefore evokes wrestling/athletic combat and giant-like strength. Exact internal modifier scope remains stylistically delicate but does not block the clause-level analysis.
• clause boundary / relatives: both post-Tiridates որ clauses continue to characterize Tiridates; no competing antecedent survives with comparable syntactic-semantic fit.

ձեռնարկութեան նշանագրաց は、辞書および同一作品内の նշանագիրք の用法を合わせると、単なる「文字についての知識」よりも「記録・書記的実務の取扱い」に寄せて理解できる。ただし、ここから特定の宮廷官職名まで復元することはしない。これに続く ի դուռն Արշակունւոյ は「アルサケス王家の宮廷へ」であり、作者像はローマ出身、ラテン・ギリシアの学芸、記録実務への習熟、王廷への到来という順に積み重ねられる。
